She was then accepted into Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in the island of St. Kitts in the West Indies. After completing her clinical year at Louisiana State University, she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2007. Her career began practicing veterinary medicine in Virginia for over two years. Text Box: Dr. Hardin started volunteering with a veterinarian at age 13, and has been in the business one way or another since.  He graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.  He came to Columbia in 1997, and bought the Two Notch Road Animal Clinic in 1999, about two weeks after marrying his wife Traci.  He started the PetFriends Veterinary Clinic in 2001 (since sold) and the Palmetto Regional Emergency Hospital for Animals in 2005.  Traci and he have a wonderful son named Tyler, two big dogs at home (Foster and Elmo), two cats at home (Grifi and Dusty) and two clinic cats here (Flame and Chester Cheeto).  Dr. Hardin appreciates the support of all the great pet parents and hospital staff who have helped make this practice what it is!
