Need an ambulance?  Who ya gonna call?

PREHA offers the only ambulance service for animals in Columbia, in fact we are one of the few hospitals on the east coast to have a fully-fitted ambulance for animals.

Initially the ambulance was used to transport critical patients between hospitals either here in Columbia or transferring a patient for additional care at one of the universities or Charlotte. We have now begun making runs to pick up injured or ill animals here in the Columbia area.

If you call for the ambulance service, you will be required to have a credit card available for initial transport costs. Mileage will be charged for both coming out to the address and returning to the hospital.
